"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you" (Matthew 28:19-20)

The ministry of Samara Preachers' Institute and Theological Seminary is made up of four basic efforts:

1) Academic Programs: The theological training of Samara Preachers' Assistance Program form the foundation of the ministry in Samara. The Preachers' Institute is a two-year part time program that trains pastors and church leaders in expository preaching. The Seminary is a three-year, full-time Master of Divinity program which further equips the students in the areas of expository preaching, theology, biblical languages, and pastoral ministry. The goal of the seminary is to train faithful men who will then be able to train others in the effective preaching and teaching of God's Word.

2) Conferences: One of the ways that we can minister to pastors and church leaders in and outside of our region is through conferences. Samara Preachers' Assistance Program hosts numerous conferences throughout the year, aimed at providing leaders with encouragement, training, fellowship, and exhortation from the Scriptures.

3) Equipping Resources: In response to the high demand for solid, God-honoring materials, SPI and STS have begun translating vital resources into Russian and providing these resources to the Russian speaking pastors, church leaders, and Christians, in general. Because the Russian church is lacking in serious and sound tools, the Preachers' Institute and Seminary have been able to equip many believers by translating numerous books as well as John MacArthur's Grace to You DVD's.

4) Pastor and Church Planter Support: Some of the men who are trained at the seminary fulfill pastoral roles immediately after graduating - some in established churches and others in church plants. For those pastors who plant churches, SPI and STS provide financial and practical support in order to grow the church to the point where its members are able to sustain it.
