Training Programs

The Theological Biblical Academy offers three program options:

Three-year Biblical program

This full-time program is designed for those who want to be thoroughly equipped as workers in the local church.  Classes include church history, apologetics, systematic theology, Greek and exegesis.

Four-year Theological program

This is designed for men who aspire to become full-time pastors and want further studies in biblical languages.  In addition to the classes mentioned in the 3-year program, four-year theological students are required to take Hebrew and more advanced exegesis classes.  They are also obligated to submit a thesis before they graduate.

The Expositors' Institute

The Expositors' Institute is a two-year part-time preaching program.  It is designed to train men who are already in full-time ministry and are unable to come to TBA as full-time students.

Classes are offered on one weekend (Friday to Saturday afternoon) every other month.  The focus of this program is to train men how to become expositors of God's Word.

Non-residential Study Program for Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministries

Purpose and Description: The purpose of this program is to provide a terminal degree (Master of Arts) for our students and to better prepare candidates for further study if they so choose. Lectures would be primarily in English, with required reading (and some writing) in English. In addition to two modules a year (January, June), the program will be constituted of reading, research and writing, self-study and lectures on DVDs.

Enrollment Requirements: Entrance into the program requires completion of the four year program of The Theological Biblical Academy or a similar curriculum. Furthermore, students must demonstrate sufficient ability in listening and reading comprehension in the English language.

Students must also have a minimum grade point average in prior studies of 3.5 or the equivalent. Students must also provide one academic and one ministerial recommendation
