Missionary Team

Brad and Heather Klassen
Brad and Heather joined the Grace Ministries International (GMI) missionary team in Samara in the beginning of March 2002. Brad currently serves as academic dean and as professor of New Testament at the Preachers' Institute and Seminary. Heather keeps busy at home with their four children, Brianna, Alisha, Bryce, and Emily and also serves by teaching in the monthly Seminary Wives meetings. They also minister in
Transfiguration Church in Samara.

Brad earned his M.Div. from The Master's Seminary in 1999 and then went on to obtain his Th.M. from the seminary in the Spring of 2001. He served as an intern for Outreach in Short-Term Ministries from 1998 to 2001, and was ordained by
Grace Community Church in February of 2002.

Jon and Natalie Rehurek
Jon and Natalie joined the GMI missionary team in Samara in January 2006. Jon serves in the  Preachers’ Institute and Seminary teaching Theology. He is also part of the leadership council at
Good News Church where he teaches and preaches. This local church is pastored by one of the graduates of the institute and seminary.Natalie serves the family in their home as she takes care of their son, Josiah. She also serves at the monthly meetings of the Seminary Wives and teaches alongside of Heather Klassen and Danese Snyder.

Jon earned his M.Div. from The Master’s Seminary in 2001 and his Th.M. in Systematic Theology in 2003, also from
TMS. Jon was ordained at Grace Community Church in the summer of 2007.  Natalie grew up attending and serving in various ministries at Grace Community Church. They are grateful to be serving alongside of the Klassens, the Snyders, and the Tahmisians.


 
Bryan and Alex Tahmisian
Bryan and Alex have been serving in Samara since the Fall of 2007.  
Bryan serves alongside Brad Klassen as Administrator for the Preachers' Institute and Seminary. His main role is to handle the administrative side of the ministry, which includes financial planning and reporting, visa coordination, staff oversight, communication with supporting churches, and technology establishment.  Alex serves by facilitating ESL courses, which are a key way to reach unsaved Russians with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.


 Jonathan and Sharon Moorhead
Jonathan, Sharon, and their 5 children came to Samara in Fall of 2008.  Jonathan received his MDiv (2000) and ThM (2003) in Systematic Theology from the Master's Seminary, and went on to receive a PhD (2008) in Theological Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary.  Sharon received her BA in Music Performance (flute) at The Master's College (1999).  Jonathan serves in Samara as Professor of Church History and also as Academic Dean.  He is also a part-time student studying the Russian language.  Sharon stays busy at home with their children Nahum, Isaac, Jesse, Jonas, and Miriam.  Jonathan and Sharon attend and serve at Grace Church in Samara.
