PURPOSE:
The purpose of The MEDA Seminary for Expository Preaching is to give the pastor and his key leaders, that meet the qualifications for Biblical eldership, the tools necessary to accurately interpret, explain, and apply the Biblical text in order that they might hold fast the faithful Word exhorting in sound doctrine and refuting those who contradict.

METHOD:
MEDA will accomplish its purpose by offering preaching labs on a one week schedule and all other courses on a two week schedule. Between courses the students will have a four or five week break (depending on the Honduran holidays), in which to accomplish homework and projects.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

Each Candidates Character:

He enjoys a credible profession of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ (Jn. 1:12-13).
He is a mature believer who fulfills the requirements of 1 Tim. 3:1-7 and Tit. 1:5-9.
He is gifted and called by God to the ministry of preaching and teaching (Eph. 4:11-16).
He is currently involved in a consistent preaching/ teaching ministry within his local church (1Pet. 4:10).
He loves to study the Word of God (2 Tim. 2:15)
He is teachable and submissive to the Word of God (2 Tim. 3:16)
He has a strong desire to preach expositionally (Neh. 8:7-8; 2 Tim. 4:2)

Each candidate must have completed at least the sixth grade.
Each candidate will complete an admission application with references.
Each candidate must sign on to the MEDA doctrinal statement and explain any divergent views.
