TMAI Regional Summit 2010

 

PURPOSE: To bring the full-time staff and two Timothy’s of the TMAI-Americas region together
for the advancement of pedagogical skill, technological application, and spiritual mentorship in
the life of each one with a view to the exaltation of Christ.

OBJECTIVES:
1) To strengthen professors and their future replacements in the areas of course
development, syllabi building, and culturally relevant teaching strategies in the
classroom.
2) To strengthen professors and their future replacements in culturally relevant uses of
technology in the classroom.
3) To strengthen professors and their future replacements in culturally relevant means
of discipleship and mentoring relationships that flow out of the classroom.
4) To dream together of how each respective seminary might be used of Christ in new
and unthought-of of ways to impact the 21 Spanish speaking countries and 2
Portuguese speaking countries as a consortium of schools.
5) To define an action plan between the deans of the TMAI seminaries of the Americas
that reflects a unity of purpose within each one’s diversity and an objective criterion
to its accomplishment.

ATTENDEES: A total of 20-26 men are invited between all full time faculty and two Timothy’s from
each training center.

HOST CHURCH: Grace Immanuel Bible Church, Jupiter, Florida (Pastor Jerry Wragg)

TARGET LANGUAGE: Spanish (All non-Spanish speaking lecturers will be translated simultaneously for non-English speakers by wireless headphones provided through the ministry of Miami Bible Church).
