Welcome to The Master's Academy International

As churches around the world strive to obey the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20), they are confronted with the Great Dilemma: “How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher?” – Romans 10:14 read more

The Expositor’s Academy

The Expositor’s Academy (TEA) in the Philippines trains believers to proclaim God’s Word. It helps ground churches by providing trained teachers who can establish a foundation of clear Bible exposition. Church by church, TEA is equipping churches to be lighthouses for God’s truth throughout the country.

For four years, TEA has operated out of Church of the Triumphant Christ. The church has graciously allowed TEA to use the upstairs worship center as a place to hold classes. As TEA’s graduates have made their way into churches, and as those churches have tasted the fruit of leaders and teachers who have been trained to rightly divide the Word, interest in what TEA offers has spiked. Churches in the Philippines are filled with people who are hungry for God’s Word, and through TEA, believers are being trained to feed them.

As the training center has grown, so too has its need for a larger meeting space. Leaders at TEA have drawn up plans to convert the smaller downstairs rooms in the church into one large room that can be used to teach larger classes. Currently, TEA classes can fit 40-50 students. With the renovation, that number will more than double.

The remodeled downstairs classroom will be designed specifically to suit TEA’s purpose with amphitheater style seating, desks, built-in projector and teaching desk. This will create a better learning and teaching environment and it will also allow TEA to hold multiple classes at the same time. Moreover, it will strengthen TEA’s relationship with the local church and increase the visibility and standing of the training ministry in the eyes of the community and among perspective students.

The remodel will allow TEA to house residential students, hold multiple classes, as well as several preaching labs at the same time. In addition, the remodeled training center will also be able to offer students a modest library for research and sermon preparation with computers and a suitable environment in which to study.

You can help TEA extend the scope of the ministry in a tangible way by giving toward this crucial renovation project. The cost of the renovation is estimated to be $22,000. Thanks to a generous donor, any gift received within the next month toward this project will be matched, up to a total of $5,000. Your support, along with the support of friends like you, can make a real difference.

Josh is serving as Youth Pastor at Auckland Bible Church—a suburban church with tremendous gospel outreach potential in the largest city in New Zealand. Zohar is serving as an evangelist to thousands of Jewish tourists to New Zealand each year in Oamaru. Reuben is currently pursuing further theological studies at The Master’s Seminary in Los Angeles and plans to return to pastoral ministry in New Zealand in 2014. These are three faithful men whom the Lord is using in mighty ways.

What I heard here opened my eyes more to see the need for people who teach how to study and teach the truth. I want to deepen my studying and my understanding and do better with what the Lord gave me to do in my church.
