Strengthening the Body in Argentina

The ability to study the word of God, to rightly interpret and preach it, changes lives.  

From the individual, through study and fellowship, to marriages and families committed to honoring the Lord, to congregations rightly fed and shepherded—sometimes for the very first time—the word of God preached does not return void (Isaiah 55:11). 

In a testimony from Argentina, a student of TMAI shares the impact of his training on his local church body.  

Isaias is a pastor at his local church in San Justo. From the training he received at Berea, he has served his church by faithfully expositing the word to the congregation. Isaias has seen firsthand the transforming power of the word in the lives of God’s people.  

“Our local Church had a pronounced turning point when we learned and began to preach expositionally.”

He writes, “God has used and continues to use IDEAR’s ministry in my life and in the local church where I serve. Last June we celebrated 11 years as a congregation in San Justo. Without a doubt, God, in all His love and grace, made it possible for us to remain today through this ministry of love, teaching, and preaching in Argentina. 

Our local Church had a pronounced turning point when we learned and began to preach expositionally. It was no longer about what Paul Washer or John MacArthur said, but what the word of God expounded.  

Everything began to take color and fall into its rightful place from that moment on.” 

When a faithful pastor teaches a congregation to rightly divide, love, and apply the word of God, a church transforms. Like black-and-white film to technicolor, the beauty of Christ is seen most vividly by a church who has a deep understanding of the person and sacrifice of Jesus.
