When You Support One of Our Student Pastors, You Don’t Just Change a Church—You Contribute to a Growing International Missions Movement.
We need your prayerful support to raise $2,500,000 by December 31. Will you consider making a year-end gift to aid our students?
Dear Friend,
TMAI’s work of training pastors and equipping them for ministry remains essential for missions. This year, I had the opportunity to visit our five regional summits in Asia, Africa, Europe, Ibero-America, and the Middle East and North Africa. In every region, I was encouraged to see that the fruit of a healthy training ministry is the advancement of the Great Commission.
As indigenous leaders are trained, they first strengthen and mature their local church. Sound preaching, implemented in a biblical philosophy of ministry, results in believers being sanctified in the truth. A mature church can then be expected to follow the New Testament model in sending its own members to fulfill the Great Commission.
Fueled by biblical convictions, the pastors we train and the churches they serve send missionaries to nearby villages and indigenous communities, unreached peoples and language groups, and those in restricted access contexts. And through your investment in our ministry, they are able to take their training forward.
Each TMAI training center is working towards this end. In South America, Seminario para la Predicación Expositiva (SEPE) launched a church planting program to support its graduates, representing ten countries in the continent. These men are reproducing their training, planting churches, and evangelizing among indigenous groups like the Quiché in Guatemala, the Pech in northeastern Honduras, and in the jungles of Peru.
In Mexico, students at the Word of Grace Bible Seminary (WGBS) are pastoring faithfully in Nahuatl-speaking villages around Huejutla, a remote highlands region. WGBS is encouraging and resourcing these men as they preach the true gospel in an area overwhelmed by idolatry and religious syncretism.
Across the ocean, Central African Preaching Academy (CAPA) is expanding its modular training and resource translation into one of the most remote areas in Malawi among the Yao people. Many of the pastors in this impoverished area have never been taught about leadership and biblical theology from Scripture.
This year, a door opened for the Samara Center for Biblical Training (SCBT), a school that has been training Russian pastors for 25 years. After decades of serving Slavic nations, SCBT recently received a request for training from pastors in Mongolia, a country of 3.5 million people with little Christian influence.
In the Philippines, graduates of The Expositor’s Academy (TEA) have established a new missions organization to support a growing missions effort from partnering churches. These leaders are working together to equip Filipino believers to reach the tribal groups and outer islands of their nation, and beyond.
All of these opportunities represent a stage of ministry growth into communities we previously could not access. Churches that were historically missionary-receiving are now becoming sending churches. The recent Biblical Missions textbook and workbook were written to equip this global missions effort. This year, TMAI also hosted several missions conferences in Indonesia and the Philippines to encourage local churches who are affirming their commitment to send biblically qualified, national missionaries into the world.
TMAI’s students and graduates are traveling long distances and making great sacrifices, so that those in even the most remote and difficult-to-reach locations may come to know Christ. My continuing question is, how can we help equip and serve these pastors? How can we better come alongside them in the Great Commission?
The training of a single pastor has a ripple effect: first in his church, then in his community, and beyond its own borders. This is the impact of funding TMAI’s student pastors: it results in an international missions movement.
As these men make untold sacrifices for the gospel, they have the assurance that we are standing with them and interceding for them in prayer. Your investment provides them with confidence that as God is working around the world, He will surely bring about transformation in their nation through their faithfulness.
Please consider supporting our students as they strive to proclaim God’s truth around the world.
Until they all hear,
Mark Tatlock
President
Your financial investment in The Master’s Academy International does more than train an indigenous church leader and biblically qualified pastor–teacher. It creates a ripple effect: first in his church, then in his community, and ultimately beyond his nation’s borders.
With confidence that God is at work around the world, your partnership helps bring about lasting transformation in their nations through the faithfulness of these men.

Donor Advised Funds (DAF) provide you a simple, flexible and tax-efficient opportunity to have tremendous Kingdom impact. Like a “charitable giving account,” you can give to a single fund and then request grants be made to one or multiple ministries that are close to your heart.
Benefits of Using DAFs
Timing. Receive an immediate tax deduction at the time you make a gift into a DAF. Then, at a time that works best for you, advise the fund how you wish your gifts to be distributed.
Simplicity. Simplify your giving and record-keeping by making all gifts of cash, stocks or appreciated assets into a single account.
Privacy. You can choose to make any or all grants anonymously.
Cost-effective. Many families choose to use DAFs as a cost-effective alternative to establishing a private foundation.

Naming The Master’s Academy International (TMAI) as a beneficiary of your retirement plan or IRA is a simple way to create an enduring gospel legacy.
Because retirement accounts are often among the most heavily taxed assets in an estate, they are also one of the most tax-efficient gifts to leave to charity. By designating TMAI as a direct or contingent beneficiary, you can avoid taxes on the portion given to ministry and ensure those resources go fully toward training pastors and strengthening churches worldwide.
Updating your beneficiary designation is easy—often just a quick online form—and you can adjust it at any time without legal assistance.
-
Designating The Master’s Academy International (TMAI) as the beneficiary of a life insurance policy is a straightforward way to leave a lasting gospel legacy. This type of gift is easy to set up, usually without legal costs, and ensures your support is carried out exactly as intended—independent of market fluctuations or economic conditions.
Because the policy passes outside of your will or trust, your gift takes effect immediately upon your passing. And while the policy is included in your taxable estate, your estate will benefit from a charitable deduction for the full value of the gift to TMAI.
-
A lifetime income gift – such as a charitable gift annuity or a charitable remainder trust – is a wonderful solution if you wish to give in a substantial way, but are concerned about having enough retirement income. You can give cash or other property, and receive steady income for the rest of your life (or a designated number of years). The remainder will benefit That Master’s Academy International (TMAI).
Benefits of Gifts That Pay You Income
Win-win. Support your favorite charities while securing income payments for life or a designated number of years.
Eliminate hassles. Give assets you no longer need or care to manage (such as rental property or vacation homes) to benefit God’s Kingdom.
Tax-wise. Receive an immediate income tax deduction at the time of your gift and reduce capital gains tax when funding your gift with appreciated assets.
TMAI will Help You:
Determine the assets that are most cost-effective for you to give.
Understand the giving options available to you, in a way that is clear and easy to understand.
Ensure your plans reflect your family and charitable goals.
